Jiufen 九份
Jiufen, a place of magnificent mountain and sea views.
According to friends who have visited Taiwan, a must-visit place is Jiufen 九份
We took the train and bus to Jiufen Old Street.
According to the Tourism website, this was the route we chose: THSR Taipei Station (or TRA Taipei Station) → Taipei MRT Zhongxiao Fuxing Station → Keelung Bus 1062 (bound for Jinguashi) to Jiufen Old Street. (More info here: https://eng.taiwan.net.tw/m1.aspx?sNo=0002091&id=290)

There are many attractions at Jiufen but a memorable part was when a food vendor, who was offering us some samples, told us not to fill our bellies at Jiufen as we were in time for the Keelung night market and there were lots of tasty choices there. It was very kind and thoughtful of him, as we, being tourists, were unaware of the night market. He cared more that we enjoyed our vacation than selling his wares.
