Cruise Tasik Putrajaya offers visitors a chance to enjoy the sights around Putrajaya on a cruise. You can opt for a 65-footer dining cruise boat or the romantic small sampan Dondang Sayang for a more intimate experience. 

Operations and events executive Harith Hadziq Shaik Mohd Shariff recommends the evening cruise to enjoy the sunset in Putrajaya. 

"Putrajaya used to be quite deserted during the weekends but in recent years, it is becoming a popular spot among locals and tourists due to the growing number of attractions and activities," he said. 

Ample parking, which is mostly free, available near the attractions is also a plus point. 

Putrajaya is also the federal administrative centre and there are numerous government buildings here. You would be wrong to assume they are mainly sombre-looking buildings as the city features many futuristic architecture such as the eye- catching entrance of the Perbadanan Putrajaya Complex 

You can also enjoy the architecture in Putrajaya such as the Putra Mosque at Putra Square, Presint 1, which attracts bus loads of tourists and buildings in Presint 3. Those with young children can let them go wild at Skykids Warrior in Presint 2 near the Millennium Monument, where they can enjoy fun and simple challenges such as tyre hopscotch, crawl through the tunnel-o-funnel, and navigate through the wall-o- maze.

The usual price is RM50/RM30 per adult and RM35/RM20 per child for cruise trips at 1pm, 2.15pm, 3.30pm, 4.45pm, 6pm and 7.15pm. 

The early bird gets the worm, so take advantage of the early-bird price of RM25/RM15 (MyKad holders) per adult or RM18/RM10 (MyKad holders) per child; for the 11am and noon cruises from Monday to Friday and 10am, 11am and noon cruises on weekends and public holidays. Prices are subject to 6% GST. Family packages are also available. 

The fee is RM25 per child.
