The hotel also has its own recommendations called Tribeca Trails that is available in guest rooms and downloadable online.
While I have driven passed the area for work, I have never explored the roads and its attraction on foot.
Changing into comfortable sport shoes, I set out to explore the city.
Along our walking trail, we walked pass numerous reflexology outlets, convenience stores, and eateries offering local or international cuisine.
I timed myself and saw that it took me around five minutes of brisk-walking to get from Tribeca to Fahrenheit88.
We worked up a good appetite before reaching Jalan Mesui for dinner.
The next day, we had the chance to experience the various facilities named Pods.

We had a yoga session at the Zen Pod, which is also available for private events.
At the Gym Pod, aside from gym facilities, a personal trainer will be available for guests who book in advance
the Business Pod provides a co-sharing workspace

Children can have fun at the Jungle Pod, which features jungle-inspired designs and fun activities like sand art and colouring.
The Social Pod features three spaces, a television room, a games room with foosball and a pool table, and a reading room with magazines and books; the pod also offers colourful bean bags for guests to just kick back and relax.
We had a fun time learning how to play pool under the tutelage of the multitalented staff who patiently guided us. We also lazed around on the colourful bean bags at the Pod.
Low Yat Group group marketing, corporate communication and business development senior manager Vincent Tang said, “The Social Pod encourages get-togethers and a sense of community among residents and guests.”
For business travellers, the Business Pod provides a co-sharing workspace, the fully functioning, flexible space offers a no-frills office with daily rates.
“We will be expecting discerning business travellers as behind Tribeca is Malaysia’s upcoming financial district, the Tun Razak Exchange (TRX), scheduled to complete in 2018. And within it is the Exchange 106, set to be the tallest skyscraper in Malaysia.
“Even before the completion of the TRX, our location makes us the apt accommodation choice for consultants on the project,” Tang said.
There are two infinity pools here. One at the Sun Deck on the 32nd floor, facing the TRX, which are more for families with children as there is a children’s pool; the other on the Moon Deck on the 37th floor, which is available for private events, offers guests a view of KLCC.

During the New Year’s Eve countdown party, a structure was erected over the pool to allow guests to view fireworks in the city centre.
Alas, the Moon Deck was closed for the event but I managed to dip into the gorgeous pool on the Sun Deck.
My trip ended with a sumptuous brunch at Wizards, an all-day dining café in Tribeca. It is operated by the multiple awards winning team behind Yellow Brick Road and Red Bean Bag.
The cosy cafe features a fusion of contemporary Australian cuisine and international flavours. As I enjoyed my coffee, I savoured a moment of peace within the concrete jungle before braving the roads of Kuala Lumpur.
