🌿 2D1N Glamping Experience at Canopy Villa Nuang Hill, Janda Baik

 

According to its website, Canopy Villa Nuang Hill is a 2-acre campsite located at the starting point of Gunung Nuang via Janda Baik, just 30 minutes from Genting Highlands and 45 minutes from Kuala Lumpur.

We went on a weekday and had the entire place to ourselves! Honestly, I was relieved there were no other guests — someone in our group was extremely loud, and it would definitely have disturbed others.

The staff were friendly and welcoming, which made us feel at home right away.

Of course, being surrounded by nature meant there were plenty of bugs, so we kept our tent zipped at all times. In the evening, it rained, but that didn’t dampen the group’s spirits — they prepared a hearty hotpot dinner to keep warm.

My sister booked the “Unique Adventurous Safari Tent”, which came with an attached hot shower, private washroom, and an open tent kitchen. Breakfast was included too.

I’d been looking forward to experiencing glamping for a long time… but unfortunately, I fell sick before arriving at the campsite. I couldn’t enjoy the trip or make use of the facilities at all, and ended up confined to bed the entire time.

Hopefully, I’ll get the chance to revisit Canopy Villa Nuang Hill someday — and create the pleasant glamping memories I missed out on this time.
