Four Seasons Hotel grand opening
Fireworks lit up the night sky at the official opening of Kuala Lumpur’s third tallest building---Four Seasons Hotel.

The 65-storey hotel is the latest luxury hotel to dot the city’s glittering cosmopolitan skyline.
The grand opening on Nov 18 was officiated by Sultan of Selangor Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah and the guest of honour Acting King Sultan Nazrin Muizzuddin Shah.
Also present were VIPs and celebrities including Raja Muda of Selangor Tengku Amir Shah, Economic Affairs Minister Datuk Seri Azmin Ali, Federal Territories Minister Khalid Abdul Samad, Selangor Mentri Besar Amirudin Shari and Kedah Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Muhkriz Mahathir.
Guests were treated to a sumptuous sit-down dinner at the elaborately decorated grand ballroom on Level 6A, where singer Syafinaz Selamat mesmerised them with a super-charged performance.

The night ended with a spectacular fireworks show at the Residence’s Pool Deck on Level 7B.
In his welcome speech, Four Seasons Hotel Kuala Lumpur general manager Tom Roelens said, “With the opening of Four Seasons Kuala Lumpur, we are redefining the city with an awe-inspiring 65-storey architectural masterpiece, which is now Malaysia’s third tallest building.”
In his speech, Venus Assets Sdn Bhd executive director Datuk David Ban said, “This is probably the tallest residential tower in the region.”
“Kuala Lumpur is indeed very underrated with its world-class infrastructure and has the potential to rival the likes of Hong Kong and Singapore,” added Ban.
Located in the heart of the Golden Triangle next to the Petronas Twin Towers, Four Seasons boasts 209 rooms and suites, 27 serviced apartments and private residences.
Aside from the hotel, the tower also houses a six-floor luxury retail podium The Shoppes at Four Seasons Place, a 40ha complex with more upscale shopping, fine dining and vibrant nightlife next to a 20ha urban green park.
