Queen graces at Pavilion Bukit Jalil

Raja Permaisuri Agong Tunku Hajah Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah recently graced the launch of the Back To Nature programme at Pavilion Bukit Jalil.
Organised by the Malaysian Creative Sewing Arts Association (PSJKM), the programme will be held until June 26 at Pavilion Bukit Jalil with the theme ‘Vaksinasi Cegah Covid-19, Kemahiran Cegah Kemunduran'.

The Back to Nature programme is PSJKM's initiative to inculcate a love for nature and educate the public to use more natural producs in their daily lives.
In her speech, PSJKM chairman Fully Chye Goet Lee said Natural Dye and Eco Printing techniques are skills that are easy to learn and can be an opportunity for artisans to explore new entrepreneurial opportunities.
The techniques also reduces the use of synthetic dyes in the fabric manufacturing industry, hence reducing environmental pollution as well.
Aside from visiting the exhibition booths, Tunku Azizah also tried her hand at eco-printing.

The Back to Nature programme at Pavilion Bukit Jalil features an exhibition of natural dye and eco printing products, eco printing demo, and natural indigo dye workshops. The public can also purchase handmade items at the Tunku Azizah Handmade Market, which feature 50 booths.
The event is expected to be held at other states nationwide at later dates.
